Adulting is an educational app that provides general information and tools to help you learn practical life and money skills, including budgeting, debt, credit, housing, taxes, careers, and related topics. The app also includes AI-powered features that provide responses, analysis, and guidance.
Adulting provides general educational information only. It is not financial, legal, tax, investment, career, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Information and AI-generated responses in the app may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial, legal, or other important decision. Always do your own research and consult a qualified professional for decisions that matter. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make.
Some features use artificial intelligence to generate responses, including the Adulting Assistant, Resume Studio, the Job Post Verifier, and the Paycheck Analyzer. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. For example, the Job Post Verifier provides an assessment to help you spot warning signs but cannot guarantee whether a job posting is genuine or fraudulent, and Resume Studio suggestions are recommendations, not guarantees of employment outcomes. Use your own judgment, and never share sensitive personal information or money based solely on an in-app assessment.
Adulting offers an optional paid subscription ("Pro") that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Prices are shown in the app and may change with notice as permitted by the App Store.
You agree to use Adulting only for lawful purposes and not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others. You agree not to submit content through the AI features that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
You retain ownership of the information and content you enter into the app. Most of this data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your own device secure.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information or AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including decisions made based on information or AI-generated content in the app.
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
